The Organic Trade Association is also concerned with regulations about how the fiber is grown, processed, produced, and dyed. In order for a cotton fabric to be called Organic Cotton Fabric it has to meet criteria in the non-toxic manufacture and handling of the fabric from seed to bloom and all the way to the retail market. Organic cotton fabric is also very allergy friendly, because the processing and manufacture techniques are so eco-friendly.
